In the painting entitled Order and Chaos, the artist moves the  pivot point of 2 wood pieces. The pair are painted from each other.  Math and nature interact. A theme in her work is relationships in conflict like in force and friction, clean and messy, rainbow colors with darkness and light, ethnic conflict, environmental conflict in manmade or natural material.  The artist is influenced by Conceptual Art and AbEx (1960s).

In Shadow Painting, the hand of the artist casts a shadow on the canvas. When the artist paints, the shadow moved and the artist continued to follow the action.  In a way it is like Jackson Pollock's action painting.  It is also like Alberto Giacometti's  works,  unending, capturing the present while time continues on.  Shadows bring to mind the existential question of the purpose of life. Since one's own shadow does whatever one does, one can become aware of one's own actions.
